A Great Stay at Hotel Dormy Inn Premium Sapporo

Dormy Inn Premium Sapporo

We booked this hotel based on many reviews, including Tripadvisor which was ranked 12th out of 162 hotels in Sapporo. Another reason we choose this hotel is because it is located at the Tanukikoji Shopping Street, on of the most happening street in Sapporo for shopping (and nearby to Susukino).
Tanukikoji Shopping Street

Overall, the hotel is very impressive as a city center hotel. The room is comfortable although it is not that spacious. We are fine with that because if you stay in the city center, you won't be going back to your hotel early. Most importantly, the hotel provides a lots of complimentary services such as Onzen hot tub at 2nd floor, free coffee at lobby, free ramen every night from 9.30PM until 11.00PM, free shutter service from hotel to Sapporo Station (last shutter service at 11.00AM) and very nice buffet breakfast.

Friendly staffs and fast check in and check out
The Room
A bit small but we still managed to move around comfortably during our stay
This is a very comfortable bed - we had very good night sleep (maybe we were very tired)
We can wear this and walk around in the hotel.
high-tech toilet cistern with automatic warming toilet seat and washing
The hotel is so thoughtful - they even provide a charging cable with multiple connectors for iPhone 5/6 and micro USB. By the way, you need to bring an International Power Adapter because Japan uses 2-pin socket.
In-the-room interactive entertainment system with room cleaning request from the screen selection.
Buffet Breakfast (Highly Recommended)
You can book the room with breakfast or pay only 1,500Yen per person for the buffet - if you see what they provide in the menu, it is worth it!
The queue in the morning - need to provide the buffet tickets to the staff at the entrance and wait for your turn.
A lot of varieties, especially the salmon roe which is quit costly if you dine at other restaurants
Feeling satisfied!
Complimentary Services
Free coffee at the lobby (definitely not 3-in-1 coffee)
Free ramen from 9.30PM until 11.00PM - EVERY NIGHT!
Complimentary Onzen hot tub, Sauna, reading area with selection of comics and magazines
Free shutter service via taxi from hotel to Sapporo Station - about 1.5KM (taxi trip cost around 900Yen as per meter )
If you need to use umbrella, it is also there for complimentary use.
Smoking area and vending machines for most of the stuffs you will need :) including draft Sapporo Beer
We had a very pleasant stay and highly recommended hotel if you want to explore Sapporo City. It is very convenient and Onzen is something that you will enjoy for a long shopping day. Lastly, the buffet breakfast is a must!

We booked the hotel through Expedia and it cost us around RM400 per night during the Golden Week - 29/4/2016 until 2/5/2016.
